Officer Bios

Hello! My name is Michael Fisher, I am a senior at Westfield High School, and I am one of your 2025 Nation Building officers. Model UN has helped me to not only improve as a debater but also to create memories I’ll cherish forever, so I’m thrilled to be able to give back to a program that I love. In addition to my 2 years in Model UN, I have participated in Civic Engagement programs like NJ Youth and Government and CONA. Outside of civic engagement, I am also a varsity swimmer and a member of Westfield’s chamber choir. This year, I hope to create a serious but welcoming atmosphere in my committee. I also look to foster both intense debate and friendship in Nation Building. With that in mind, I encourage delegates to come to conference prepared and with an open mind.
