Officer Bios

Hello Everyone! My name is Sidney Simeon and I am so excited to be one of the 2025 Press Chairs! I’m from Hunterdon Central and this is my 5th year doing MUN. I started doing MUN in Middle School and have been doing it every year since. I also participate in Youth and Government during the Spring. These programs have helped me overcome my fears of public speaking and have given me confidence to get engaged. I encourage delegates to participate so they can have an amazing experience like I have. Outside of YMCA civic engagement, I participate in speech and debate, as the treasurer of my school’s Black Student Union and a part of my school’s track and field team. I’ve been a part school TV program as a Technical Director since my freshman year and have been involved with my local library for many years as part of our Teen Advisory Board. In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to music and hanging out with my friends.
